Indian Bank leads the gainers in group "A". Market gain was very small, turnover dropped. Though the market opened very firm with positive gap, and was range bound for most of the day. In the last hour, profit booking was seen and Sensex and other sectoral indices almost lost their gain in earlier session. Asian markets were firm while European markets were subdued.

BSE Sensex ended up 48.86 points or 0.34 % at 14,450.35. BSE Midcap ended up 14.36 points or 0.25 % at 5,741.21. BSE Smallcap ended down 3.60 points or 0.05 % at 6,922.25

Nifty ended up 7.90 points or 0.18 % at 4,335.35.

Top gainer BSE sectoral indices were :

• Realty ended up 98.79 points or 2.00 % at 5,043.52. Indiabull Real ended up Rs. 18.95 or 6.69 % at Rs. 302.15.

• Bankex ended up 89.96 points or 1.35 % at 6,745.72.  Yes Bank ended up Rs. 4.80 or 3.74% at Rs.133.15.

• Teck ended up 23.05 points or  0.77 % at 3,020.76. IOL Net Com  ended up Rs. 5.00 or 4.98 % at Rs. 105.50.

• Metal ended down 120.56 points or 0.98 % at 12,243.37. NMDC Ltd. ended down Rs. 12.95 or 3.97 % at Rs. 313.10

• Power ended down 24.80 points or 0.95 % at 2,573.16. Suzlon Energy ended down Rs. 9.65 or 4.27 % at Rs. 216.45

• CG ended down 67.87 points or 0.57 % at 11,857.49. ABB ended down Rs. 17.45 or 1.94 % at 880.70.

• HDFC ended up Rs. 82.75 or 3.63 % at Rs.2,363.40.

• Mah & Mah ended up Rs. 14.40 or 2.62 % at Rs. 563.50.
