KSK Energy Ventures
leads gainers in group "A". Sensex opened with a negative
gap on Monday and at once was down as low as 283 points as
compared to its closing on previous session. But later it regained
and ended with minor losses. Buying support in PSU and Oil & Gas,
FMCG shares helped BSE Sensex to regain. Biggest losers were Metal
shares.
BSE Sensex ended down
66.02 points or 0.45 % at 14,498.51. BSE Midcap ended down 0.31
points or 0.01 % at 5,741.98. BSE Smallcap ended down 0.25 points
at 6,891.39.
Nifty ended down 11.35
points or 0.26 % at 4,348.65.
Top gainer BSE sectoral indices were :

PSU ended up 21.11 points or 0.31 % at 6,768.18.. Syndicate
ended up 5.73 %, BEML ended up 5.45 %, RECL ended up 4.65 %
whereas Nalco ended down 2.41 %, MRPL ended down 1.57 % .

Oil & Gas ended up 29.12 points or 0.30 % at 9,688.58. Essar Oil
ended up 3.80 %, REl Petro ended up 0.86 % and IOC ended down 1.17
% BPCL ended down 0.64 %.

FMCG ended up 5.03 points or 0.23 % at 2,220.63. Dabur India ended
up 2.03 %, ITC ended up 1.62 %, REI Agro ended down 4.74 %, Godrej
Cons ended down 2.65 %.
