3. Water Sports :

There are many water sports in India to enjoy. Like surfing, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing etc. Major destinations for these are Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.

Surfing : Surfing is becoming quite popular in India. If you like the thrill then surfing is for you. Make a big splash in the water and have a good balance on the surfboard and there you are surfing all around.

Canoeing and Kayaking : Canoeing and Kayaking are a unique sport where you get the opportunity to explore the unexplored, as kayaks are small boats one can paddle through beautiful natural caves and explore offshore islands. Canoes can accommodate at least two people with their gear and is usually practiced on lakes and rivers, which have flat and still water. This is the perfect sport to experience nature to its closest proximity. The sport can be little ruff as the wind can be quite unpredictable and the river at certain sections can be little dangerous. Water Rafting : In India rivers of North India offers an excellent spots for this sport. Ganga offers the exhilarating Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers, near Hrishikesh, which is the most popular stretch for this sport. While in Ladakh river Indu flows, the Zanskar and the Chenab in Jammu & Kashmir which are very different river rafting experience places. Other rivers which support this sport challenges are Beas, Satluj and Yamuna.
